Parting Song Poem by Neela Nath Das

Parting Song

Rating: 5.0

The verse of my life
is going to be ceased.
A little bird just
told me thru the breeze.
I haven't broken its nest,
I never hurt its heart.
Why did it bear this message,
to tear my peace in parts?
I may not stay,
I shan't sing,
I must fly away,
spreading my wing.
I don't like storm,
I dislike rain,
they can wound me
and may give me pain!
I love you all,
ever hated none.
Excuse me if any
mistake I've done.

I don't like storm but I love rain...but Your case may be different dear poetess! Many of us may fail to understand the reason of your dislikeness to rain! !

I don't like storm, I dislike rain, they can wound me and may give me pain....this expression may not be generalized but a case to be comprehended. Well penned dear poetess. Top score!

So simple.....purging the hidden fear and realisation that one day we have to break our cage and transcend into this universe....then.your song will give wings to your flight

Dear Madam, Birds and animals lead a natural life. It is only man who is becoming more and more unnatural and causing untimely disasters in the world. Lovely poem. Thanks for your comments on my poems.
