Parting Poem by Shruti Goswami

Parting

For men may come and men may go,
It's a difficult task,
To really know,
Will I stick to tradition?
Or go with the flow,
I feel that I might never know,
What it is to love, or feel loved,
To treat it as mistrust;
Or breach of faith;
How far can freedom really go;
Isn't it liberty,
Whom freedom does not know;
To be free, is not liberty;
It's the prudence to not let liberty
Overtake your better judgement
Of freedom.
Its difficult, this choice;
To analyse and know,
Somehow I feel;
Its time for me to go;
And muse;
On liberalism and freedom;
And find the limit for both.

How far can freedom really go; Isn't it liberty, Whom freedom does not know; To be free, is not liberty; Beautiful introspective lines with a great message... i guess applies to both genders..........there does indeed come a time, ….! ! ! its not for nothing the old wild west term......i guess its time to put down my roots, enough of wild oats...…………..came in to vogue.... I feel… that was the time of experimentation, a time when man evolved again, spirit, grit, great outdoors, survival, the need for companionship, the inevitable whip, a kinda crucible where mixtures of chemistry bubbled and roiled, contrasted and conjured....and finally left a golden ring around the edges of their capsule testifying to the existence of some rules in a bubbly and heady mix of no rule land.... loved yer lines…fab be happy :)
