Part Viii: In My Book Of You Poem by Muna Moons Ahmed

Part Viii: In My Book Of You

The Calendar On My Wall Is Blue,
Welcome Dearest April,
This Is Special Between Us Two,
It's More Than Touch And Feel,
You Are Mine My Beau,
Am Aging A Little Still...

THIS IS MY APRIL.

The Spring Flowers Have Sprang,
Roses, Jasmines And Tulips,
Melodies Are Hummed By My Tongue,
And Kisses Stuck To My Lips,
I Have Found April's Hunger Pang,
That Take Hearts On Beautiful Trips...

THIS APRIL I FLOWER...

The Winds Blow Gently,
With A Hint Of Heavenly Showers,
I Can't Help Being Bubbly,
Surrounded By Heady Scents Of Flowers,
My Love Come Quickly,
I Count Down The Hours...

APRIL FUELS MY HOPE.

There's Lightness In My Thick Hair,
Way Past My Shoulders,
There's Naughtiness In The Air,
Crossing Invisible Borders,
In April I Find Care,
And Love Amidst Reprimanding Orders...

MY APRIL IS CAREFREE.

Come Home My Desert Warrior,
The Moon Will Be Full Soon,
April Should Make You Happier,
It Whispers My Heart's Tune,
I Love You My Dear,
Let Me Be Your Moon...

GROW WITH ME THIS APRIL.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is one among a series of poems I wrote when in courtship with my boyfriend, now my husband. It is an anticipation of what I pictured our lives would have been, especially in April, when it is my birthday.
