PAROL

Malamig na ang gabi
Pwede bang ika'y makatabi?
Liwanag mo pa lang
Mainit na kahit ang buwan

Sa ilalim ng dilim
Ginagabay ako dahil
Ayokong maligaw sa malawak na mundo
Ikaw ang tala ko

[Refrain]
Ngayon ka lang ba nanjan
Tuwing pasko ka lang ba makakamtan
Parol ka ng buhay ko magpakailanman

[Chorus]
Sana'y wag na maglaho
Ang liwanag na nagbago
Sa buhay kong madilim
Sa puso kong walang kapiling
Sana'y wag nang magbago
Ang pag-ibig na iyong tinago
Pwede naman buong taon
Nakasabit ka sa puso ko

Kahit san ako tumingin
Ikaw ang laging alaala
Kahit na anong gawin
Tuwing pasko ika'y laging kasama

The old year went, and the new returned, in the withering weeks of drought,
The cheque was spent that the shearer earned,
and the sheds were all cut out;
