Everyone was getting ready
Children dressed up so cute
Chattering together
Getting the latest parade scoop

Ballerinas are just adorable
Along with cowgirls and cowboys
Never seen a parade before?
Oh, they bring tremendous joy

Little clowns with brilliant faces
A grin that spreads from ear to ear
They’re getting so excited now
A giggle can turn to a tear

But it all is such enormous fun
It just seems heaven sent
Something for the entire family
Wonderful parade excitement!
