Papers Galore Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Papers Galore

I saw my desk and the wall around.
I saw the new book that was newly bound.
I kept seeing hundreds of reminders,
And posters of handsome men.

The wall facing me had some pictures of Buddhist dieties,
And the coffee mug 'Coffee Cafe' filled with pens.
The Muse flew around here and then through my heart and pen.
Then this Muse raced my mind's work on the myriads of paper at hand.
