Paper Airplanes Poem by Kyle Kirnan

Paper Airplanes

Rating: 5.0

I throw my paper airplane into the sky

And it soars wistfully away

The sun shines smiles

With wind for the perfect day.

The grass is green

The sky is blue

The bird beats its wings

The clouds are white

The flowers bloom

And the bees begin to sing.

The plane solos a dance

Through the air of the windy day

It lowers down

Toward the ground

As the sky turns dark and gray.

The plane slows to a stop

The clouds let out a roar

The rain will cry

My plane will die

Fun isn’t anymore.
