Palanquin Poem by Queeny Gona

Palanquin

Her laps, a soft cradle
His heart, her only palanquin
My aunt's joy doubled and so my uncle's merry
Pampering Sudha-Their lovely daughter
A God fearing and benevolent child
They are now elated
To let HER in as a beautiful bride
Su-Hasini for Mr. D. Pradeep

Overwhelming with bliss
My dearly Aunt and Uncle
Placed her in the hands of the bride groom
Filling her void valves
To be complete in his Amity,
Beginning the second sojourn
To be bone of Mr. D. Pradeep
Flesh of HIS flesh
Being one body, mind, and Soul!

From now on,
Ms. Thathapudi Sudha Suhasini Paul
Gonna be acknowledged as Mrs. Sudha Suhasini Pradeep
On the auspicious day of her Birth!
May God -the Father, lead your family in HIS Abundant Grace
We wish you a Happy Birthday dear
And wish you both- A Happy Married Life!
May God's choicest blessings be upon your family!

A dedication to my dear cousin on her Wedding!

To let her in as a beautiful bride! Nice piece of work.

A fitting tribute to your cousin on the day of her wedding! Here after her lap would be his cradle and his heart, her palanquin! Lovely imagination!
