'Painless And Free' Poem by ter gar

'Painless And Free'

Rating: 3.5

They planted the seed in my mind
The idea I struggled to find

I've been loosing sleep
Every time I close my eyes
I'm chasing dreams

Gotta leave this town behind
'Cause no one's shaken my hand

Gotta swim out to the ocean
Into the deep blue (Everton) sea
I'm stuck in old habits
Painless and free

I'm making sense
Of what I've lost
Counting the times
The Wheels spun off

Say goodbye
To all the old faces
With whom I had many
Merry graces

The only way is to
To lead with my heart

Untill I return one day
I still have you uncle Mike (Liverpool)
Forever within my heart...

Dedicated to the late Uncle Mike Rice

'They planted the seed in my mind...the idea I struggled to find' very good expression...keep writing. You may enjoy some of mine. 'The Answer' will be published in a future book and 'Puffy Pillows Block Out Halo' is enjoyed by many. I have others...thank you.
