Painful Goodbye Poem by Helen Kitaro

Painful Goodbye

More than words
More than a feeling
The spell you have on me
My first love that lasted more than a decade
Crazy to think in good old days
That it was buried in the grave
You took me higher than I've ever been
Back to the flow of love
Old promises for myself that I wouldn't weep
For this love the second time
But it happened
Once again
It's time to say that painful goodbye

All by myself
As if a stranger of the night
Noticing the rhythm of the dripping tears
And I told this soul
Don't stop believing
A little bit more
That all I never needed is you
and I never cry
Tracks of my tears somehow revealed
Let me try again harder next round
Once again
It's time to say that painful goodbye

Show me the way
I got to know
A path to end this saddest love song
This love is hunting me like a prey
Tearing and stitching me back from pieces
Wouldn't you just let me end here
Can't help falling deeply
To a love that beyond my reach
9,999,999 tears is a gift for my love
Bring me back to serenity
Once again
It's time to say that painful goodbye
