Pain Poem by Wynter Scott

Pain

Rating: 5.0

Pain, pain, can you take away this undesirable pain
When many attempt to understand, but I cover my face in shame

Because you'll never understand
You'll always look down on my style
And when the sky looks gloomy
You'll talk bout me when I'm not around

Pain, pain, what did I do?
I try to cover you up, but you always break through

I smile in the spotlight
And speak with delight
But when I go to sleep I wake up in frights
Screaming, Kicking, Crying too; sorry you guys but the pain broke through

Pain, pain, you run people away
I cry in the night, but you wont go away

My suppressants, medications, my fantasies too
But when all that goes away, then what do I do?
What happens when nobodies there?
And I lay in my bed and cant help but see the stare of...

Pain, Pain staring at me
When you run them away, then guess where I'll be?

Pain, pain, you won't go away
You always find a way to mess up my day

Pain, Pain you're stuck in my head
You live in my home, you sleep in my bed

Pain, Pain! ! Leave me alone
This body of mine, is no longer your home

Pain, Pain listen to me
Do my hopeless cries, leave you with glee?

Pain, pain… I give up, you've won
You sneak up on me, just as something good has begun

Pain, pain, you've messed up my life
The damage you've done, is more than just the knife
