Over That Rainbow Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

There is one answer I'd like to know,
what exactly is over that beautiful Rainbow,
is there true happiness and peace along with harmony,
if so, I would honestly really like to go.

You know that is where I'd like to be,
living in a place of total unity,
walking about in a land where I can feel free
to roam around just being me.

I am not searching for that
pot of gold,
I just wanna live my life in tranquilty,
where love and friendship is only given
you know,
it's not expected to be bought nor sold.

None of us will ever find the peace we need
or are searching for,
with the insanity of this world,
day by day we never know what's in store.

I'd like to see the other side of that rainbow,
if only for a few minutes in this lifetime.
