Outskirts Poem by Autumn Winds

Outskirts

Where the worlds clash and collide
The stars, unnoticed, burn forever out in dark
On the edge of a dream
Trying to look through the vitreous barrier
And failing; opaqueness clouds the vision
Left blind and lost
The only thing left to do is prepare
But for what? Only time will tell
To follow instinct
Or override with consciousness
At the edge, where the sky crumbles
Where empty sounds reside
Will I plummet and fail
Or land and survive?
