Outside Your Window Poem by Colin Coplin

Outside Your Window

Rating: 5.0

Somewhere in the world it must be winter
You don’t care ‘cause you followed the sun
Master of the wind, you divide and conquer
Nomad wonderer and slave to no one

Outside your window a porthole to a whole new world
Set sail dear friend across the mirror seas
Open your beautiful eyes to find
An Earth so full of wonder, yes a world made for you and me

Set sail, set sail, set sail, set sail, set sail
Set sail, set sail, set sail, set sail
A world made for you and me

break

Somewhere in the world there is a broken heart
One that no longer beats for love
Set your course enchanted mariner
To the one that needs you most

Ride the waves like a dolphin footloose and proud
Tear up the sea and play by the shore
Bathe in the moonlight young shadow boxer
Free puppeteer to no man's law

Set sail, set sail, set sail, set sail, set sail
Set sail, set sail, set sail, set sail
To the one that needs you most

Somewhere in the world it must be winter
You don’t care ‘cause you followed the sun
Master of the wind, you divide and conquer
Nomad wonderer and slave to no one
