Outside Of The Circle Poem by Michael Pyatt

Outside Of The Circle

Outside Of The Circle

I walk so lonely outside the circle
Wont you let me into the centre
Come and make everything better
I feel so isolated
Yet I dont feel hated
Outside of the circle

Outside of the circle do let me remain
Because the pain will feel the same
Until you let me there to hold you
Theres little I can do

Around and around I wander
Seems it gets bigger outside each time I orbit
Wont you let me come into the centre
The hope you have is so slender
Let me begin to make things better
Outside of the circle I can do next to impossible

Outside of the circle do let me remain
Because the pain will feel the same
Until you let me there to hold you
Theres little I can do

Outside of the circle my feet are so worn
I wander around and around trying to keep out the storm
If you want to have so company
Then let me enter so freely
Dont dream that this can all just go away
You'll just feel as lost as you did yesterday

Outside of the circle I am alone
Your in the middle living in your home
Like an its an empty shell
Throw a coin into the wishing well
If I am inside the circle
Then you will feel peace and love absolute

Outside of the circle do let me remain
Because the pain will feel the same
Until you let me there to hold you
Theres little I can do
