Outside Poem by Dante Furious

Outside

I can’t come in and see you
I can’t come in and hug you
No more bath times
No more ‘sud wars’ or making Mohicans from bubble bath
No more vortex or whirring whirlpools of death in bath escapades
It’s cold here in the car
I see the warm glow of love and crisp heating
Baking wet bodies from baths and spring soaked smelling towels.
She left me and with her she took what was important
Not only important but my world
Which was lost down the plug hole called my life
Thankfully when the pills kick in
There will be no pain as the coldness comes inside.
