Out Of The Box Poem by Puspanjali Sahu

Out Of The Box

It started
when I was 13
may be
much before that
and it will continue
after 30 also
Often
you have to sit in a room
which looks like a box
You know it well
proper care has been taken
in that box
with small or closed windows
to confine your thoughts
Yet you will be asked
to force your thoughts
to fly
outside the box
THINK OUT OF THE BOX
this statement
use to excite me
till I realised
My body can not leave the room
and my thoughts
can not leave my body
So these days
if I have to
or wish to think
first I think
how to keep my thoughts
inside the box
