Out Of Sight Poem by Anthony E. Briguglio

Out Of Sight

Rating: 5.0

When I was born a little boy
I was born to a world of darkness
I did not speak for I was young to understand
I was born to a world of darkness.

My parents said I was special, but I did not know it was because
I was born to a world of darkness.
I started to grow and really understand
I was born to a world of darkness

I could not play like a normal child, because I wasn't
I was born to a world of darkness.
I could not see I was very scared
That I was born to a world of darkness.

Never day, always night, all my dreams were out of sight
Because I was born to a world of darkness.
As I grew older it got easier to understand
I was born to a world of darkness.

My five other senses are far above normal
Because I was born to a world of darkness.
My mind is my eyes, my imagination is my reality
So why in god's name was I chosen to be born to a world of darkness.
