Out Of Place Poem by Weldon Davis

Out Of Place

She is tall statuesque
And beautiful

She is so out of place here
(Prison)

Like a celebration at a cemetery
-Or-
A hunger strike at a smoke out

Many guys look upon her
She sees nothing but
Hunger, lust, and emptiness..

Depressed
She looks for that something
That silver lining
That catalyst

Who will acknowledge the obvious
(Her beauty)
But also challenge her mind
