Out At Sea Poem by Darrin McMiller Jr.

Out At Sea

She cried her heart out literally
A flash flood filled Fiona's room
Phil couldn't understand it
So he slipped and drowned in it
But when she moved from a frown into a smile
He became un-bloated and floated ashore
Both trying to stay afloat
It’s a wrinky-dink boat they sailing on.
Small sheets felt like thunderstorms
But that's what they were used to,
Being in deep wasn't new
To stay alive they both thought 10steps ahead
But the rain still sacked them for minus 20
Back to square one,
Zeroes is what they became,
Emotionally drained
So she cried her heart out Literally.
