Our Very Own Story Poem by RIC BASTASA

Our Very Own Story

Rating: 1.0

our ways meet
and then we fuse as
on highway of
engagement letting in
those which are huge
and heavy
until we realize that
all these are too much
like rain overflowing
a waterway,
we do not like the sound
of horns
and blasts of boats
passing
we soon narrow down
until we part
at the junction of our
separate beliefs
we end in a horizon
blind to the mists.
