Our Streets Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

Our Streets

We know our streets one by one Simply because we used to measure our steps Coming and going, We know their breathing, and We know their addresses, Our streets have their special smelling, The people who are walking on them, The ears of corn that are sold over there, The sunflower's seeds, lupine, and Other things............... Our streets are pretty and They're even prettier than USA's, Our streets have a different sensation Where they safety and security, People know each other with love, The trees, which are on both sides of our Streets, have their charming beauty, They're our pretty streets which we walked on them and we're still walking up to this moment. _____________________________________________
