Our Sins We Choose Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Our Sins We Choose

Rating: 5.0

true there exists
genetic disposition
definite inclination
tendency to act
in specific ways

yet mood temperament
personality is choice
sin is character compulsion
choice sin is definitely not
literally genetically inherited

sin is choice
we choose
to embrace
what we value
or what we desire
or to personality
rebel for diverse
desired reasons

God said none
are tested beyond
their ability to endure
the sins of the father's set
the teeth of the sons on edge
