Yes I admit, it was the Ship of Fools, that did not question me or doubt my motivation. I was allowed to board, though cap in hand and ushered into starboard cabin, bottom deck. So uneventful was the voyage to the other side, New Worlds must be admitted into seasick stomachs. We came to conquer, veni, vidi, vici and Hooray, we carried noses well aloft and nostrils flaring.
Much time has passed since days of high-brow landing, that ship still travels with new cargo, never ending. But it remains, as it was known to all the seagulls the SHIP OF FOOLS it is, and we were honoured guests.
