Our Love Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Our Love

Rating: 4.7

I lay frazzled in your arms;
Caressed and kissed your florid palms;
We took a vow in the flocculent night;
Our lives' miseries together we would fight;

You hugged me and shed beads of tears;
Your profound love is as pure and clear
As the calls of muezzin in a mosque
And as the glowing star in the dusk.;

Gathering into a bun your flowing hairs
Swearing to spoil you with unbound cares
I kissed your lips and petals of classic eyes
My ambition ends, where your happiness lies.

The squall of envy for our sublime love
May burn us one day, and make us to move
To that realm of divine existence
Where mortals fear to go by-chance.
