Our Lives Poem by Gregory (gshaw57) Upshaw

Our Lives

Our Lives, Our Lives
Dreams of lives
Once lived—has been detached
Destroyed
By the treacheries of society
You know
Cast into darkness
A shadow of morbidity
Upon this society
We have
Indulge
Into the fruits
Of
Sinful pleasures
And
Forgo our imperfections
Our Lives, Our Lives
Dreams
Once lived
Gone like a whimper
Into the night
