Our Life Poem by Ernestine Northover

Our Life

Rating: 4.9

In the evening, when he's got the time to spend with me,
He goes and falls asleep watching TV,
Is it because we're now a wee bit old,
And our feelings for each other have perhaps grown cold,
No, not at all, it really just goes to show, how
Our life has turned into quiet contentment now.

You put this so well, how kind your heart is, he must feel so content to know such a warm and beautiful person, Love Duncan

Your optimism, Ernestine, is baffling. Susie.

I think I will thank God if I reach that 'happy contentment' stage with my husband. We've been together since we were 16 yrs old so I look forward to growing old together. Very heartwarming Ernestine. Sincerely, Mary
