Our Life Path (Maha Shivaratri)
Enter the nostrils
blend secretly with the air
as I breathe
precious Chandan
swirling at the altar
I breathe the musk
feeling holistic
and looking at each murti
as I bow in prayer:
tat-savitur varenyam
in esoteric pledge
asking precious Lord Shiva
to let the light
from dusk to dawn
bring peace and comfort
as it glows towards
our journey
our life-path.
