Our Last Kiss Poem by Larry Perry Sr

Our Last Kiss

OUR LAST KISS

As I stared off into the midnight skies counting each bright star that reminds me of your smile as we kissed our last kiss

If I would have known that would have been our last kiss I would I made it last forever

Than maybe you will still be here with me if only I could have helt you longer you wouldn't have left me

Those last seconds and minutes meant life and death for us that night when we kissed our last kiss goodbye

Not knowing that it would be our last goodbye

As I stare off into the midnight skies with the moon full and beautiful just the way it was the night of our last kiss

A kiss that didn't last long enough to keep you near to keep you here to share the bright stars that reminds me of your smile

With the full moon that made the night as bright as the day to see clearly into your eyes that kept me hypnotize

Oh how I realized that night I wanted to spend the rest of your life together

It's all in the moon and stars now for me now that you're gone and I can not never see anymore

The memories are so fresh and new and I'd never get over you because losing it cuts like a knife

If only I knew what I know now I would have never stopped holding and kissing you under the bright stars and full moon

As I stare into the midnight skies counting every beautiful bright stars that will always remind me of you

Therefore you will always remine in my heart and fill it like the full moon we last kissed our last kiss under

With that being said our last kiss we shared I will miss each and every day
