Our Happy Ever After

I'm trying hard to be understanding
Being patient seems to be the only way
I hope that we can get through all this
Find our happy ever after again one day

Don't let me go don't walk away again
Just think of why you held on to me
There are reasons why we are here still
Together is where we are meant to be

I don't want to go outside and leave
But I can't stay here with you and fight
Please just hold me close in your arms
Just kiss me tell me it will be alright

I know we've made a mess of things
Things are not the way they should be
That everythings a mess between us
And not as perfect as we had dreamed

I know this fight is the same story
Endless hurting with countless pain
I'm trying hard to stay here standing
When I'm feel like there's nothing to gain

I'm trying hard to be understanding
Being patient seems to be the only way
I hope that we can get through all this
Find our happy ever after again one day

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
