Our Golden Girl Casper Semenya Poem by Jacques Sprenkie Mateya

Our Golden Girl Casper Semenya

Rating: 5.0

South African shining star that shines brighter than silver
Acquaintance of feat in annals of history.

The dusty streets of Moletji
Have seen your upcoming
The dusty roads of Limpopo knows you by heart
From those dusty streets that raised you to the world class fields of London
The world praises you today

You are brave like lion
And as fast as a springbok
Running like a parcel falling from heaven
Faster than leopard, beyond German apparatuses
Our golden girl, shining star that shines brighter than silver
A confrère of success in chronicles of our time.

You bought us gold in Berlin.
And in London you bought us silver
With you our country never come back empty handed
You are faster that the bullets
You left the world dumbfounded
When the world was mumbling!
And looking at you with eyes that can kill
We rallied behind you
Our golden girl, our shining stars that shine brighter silver
A colleague of victory in diaries.

You flew South African flag higher above the wind
South African shining star that shine brighter silver
Acquaintance of feat in annals of history.
Go! Casper Go! And well done Casper our golden girl.
