We have a faded love
And wilted roses
Our friends turn their backs
And stick up their noses

We had the perfect love
Once there upon a time
But now it fades away
With each of the clocks chimes

Our love is wilting
Like the roses upon the vine
A love that was so strong
This love of yours and mine

Yes our faded love
Is surely worth reviving
Let's cherrish it in our hearts
And let's keep our love surviving

Our friends may never understand
Just how our love is so devine
For it is a present from Heaven
This fading love of yours and mine

So let's rekindle our love
Like a match in the dark
Let's start it off with a kiss
And build the fire from the spark
