Our Destiny

I dreamed of you in my life here
to walk this paths journey
it was you who was always there
that was the one meant to be
to always be next to me
together we will forever stand
our love together hand in hand
and will never let go
chosen for each other to love
it was our destiny
for which we had no control
brought together by Creator above
our hearts together He would send
to heal what we thought couldn't mend
and will be forever all we will know

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
