Other One

There is no other one......no shelter from the storm.....a second pair of eyes....to help steer away from harm....a wake up call when needed.....a laugh to an inside joke....no there is no other one.....who protects this home.....a cat lies near the window......sunshine floods the fields behind.....in a quiet moment......I remember why we survive.....Maker of all creation......Maker of me and you.....protected like a fortress....the reason we continue.....
