Othello

Hate thought art.

Sad fool is forlorn,

Happy sorrow, mad.

Inconsolable sadness is love,

Unreachable madness, fear.

Moor of Bard is forsworn.

I have taught the play 'Othello' many times, but I can't really work out the meaning here. Most cryptic and enigmatic without an 'explication de texte'.
