Orphan Poem by Elegant Judy Emery

Orphan

Orphan
I am an orphan
this anyone could see by looking at me
I am an orphan on God's highway
all the warriors gathered around
like ravens on a tree looking at me
and looking at all the children that no one wants
I'll share my troubles if you go away
I tell you my story of the lost and gray of days
I have nothing to loss anyways
I stand strong in my faith
I have no mother or father
I was left by the orphanage home with a note
I am an orphan girl
blue gray eyes
with long black hair who loves life
I have had friends that come on gone
and I have friends are like my brothers and sisters
that I would put down with my life
As I got older I kept my heart good with God
but I felt an evil eyes on me
and that is when the pain regain
