Ornithology - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

Birds are hunted
For their dazzling plumage
For ones with vivid feathers
Will be mounted on table tops
Filled with cotton wool
Voluptuous creatures
On makeshift perches
Hauling the bulging eyes of man
For plumage maketh
Trophy mannequins
Straddled to the mighty man

Love towards birds and cruelty of man depicted lucidly with the words..dazzling plumage and Trophy mannequins
startedwith closed lips and finalises with lips apart , desrve max rating... (Report) Reply
