in the woodshed

now in sunlight
now in shade

the couple's kiss
on the airplane

does not exist.

Just as the cat's
ardent lovemaking

now in shade
now in sunlight

does not
exist

for the kissing
couple

many miles
overhead.

Both worlds
so

apart

& yet
each to the other

the only
real world

there is.

On a table
in an altoghether

different
country

an origami bird
just sits

&
sits

until a flirtatious
breeze

starts it on
its maiden flight.
