Ordained To Serve

Praise God for hills and rugged vales
For Heaven’s two edged Sword
Praise God for He who never fails
Praise God for Christ The Lord

Blessed is the soul where truths abound
Who’s love’s for Christ The King
Who’s faith transcends to holy ground
Eternal praise to sing

From deep within a humble soul
From out a contrite heart
Hoping to reach it’s sought for goal
It’s blessing to impart

A priceless gift of grace divine
A heart full potent praise
A tongue more sweet than ancient wine
With voice a song to raise

Ordained to serve with hands made pure
With eyes trained high above
Predestined peace and rest secure
With He of perfect love

Seven times seven tried and tried
Cleansed as the virgin snow
Fruits for a life well multiplied
Blessings which flow and flow

Who’s silver and gold meets neighbours needs
Through acts and selfless thought
Plants deep in life love’s righteous seeds
Whilst Heaven’s will is sought

Accepting Jesus’ true report
Serving both Lamb and fold
With call accomplished fight well fought
Receive life’s crown of gold
