Open Dusk Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Open Dusk

I envy.

I envy the men and the women of desert
I envy islanders, far away, smaller the better
I envy the people who settle in the huts
Without rigs and wires, no building, no asphalt.

They have long horizon, no object,
They have wide horizon, no object,
Nothing is on their way.
They can see the sunset,
They have it all natural
See clouds of the dusks.

I envy the colours they can see.
In sky the thousands of paintings…
I envy.
I envy.
I envy.
