Open Doors Poem by Ryan Lee Morris

Open Doors

Rating: 4.0

You opened the door,
You pushed me away,
You left me with,
No words to say.
You needed time,
You needed space,
You left me alone,
In this cruel, dark, place.
But don't you fret,
Because I am strong,
Getting over you,
It won't take long.
Another door opened,
I was invited in.
This loss for you,
Is someone else's win.
One person's junk,
Is another's treasure.
Your regret,
Will be my pleasure.

Nice write! Sometimes we throw away valuables only to regret later
