We are now in the month of August,
I now can feel the wind's cold gust
that will soon get even colder
‘til, once more, it is September
when, to Nature's beat, the leaves fall
from the pretty trees, low and tall,
in the Northern Hemisphere,
when heat abates in lands elsewhere,
and Christendom awaits with mirth
the Anointed Redeemer's birth.
