Only The Wind Poem by Patti Masterman

Only The Wind

Rating: 4.8

It's a magic dance;

Don't watch where I'm going,

Don't watch where I end up,

Watch your thoughts, watching me-

It's a magic dance, take a chance.

It's a magic dance;

Doesn't matter what you see,

Doesn't matter what you think,

Just relax and watch the show-

It's a magic dance, so don't blink.

It's a magic dance;

I'm going, but don't stop watching,

I'm leaving, just hold my gaze till the end,

Or you might miss the thing you keep missing-

When I disappear, there's only the wind.

A very captivating poem. Makes one think of dancers going through the many moves to perfect ion. Watching each other as if trying to keep up the pace. Their leaping through the air as if the winds are lifting them up. Enjoyed it.
