Only Gentle Lullabies Poem by David Harris

Only Gentle Lullabies

Rating: 5.0

I spread my wings
and fly away
to another glorious day

To a day filled with sunshine
never clouds of rain.
A day of a forever spring.

Waking each morning
to the breath in the air of love
from all who live there.

No distrust or anger
seeks us out while we are there,
only gentle lullabies.

Whispering to each sleepy head
with a songs of love and caring
to carry us through each day.
