I've finally realised,
That I can never have you.
The only girl you want,
Is that one person I could never be,
No matter how hard I tried.

You only want me as a friend,
But you don't want me to be,
With any other guys.
You say it's because,
You don't want me to get hurt.
But in my head I imagine,
All other possibilities.

Whenever you can,
You want to be with me.
You talk to me all the time.

Please just tell me straight,
Whether you like me or not.
You're sending out mixed signals,
And it's driving me insane.
