If I had a word that described you
it would be more beautiful than any yet spoken.
It would fill the hearts of any who heard it
with endless joy and happiness.
All pain and suffering would ceace
in the presence of the sound.
The world would be joyous
and life would be peaceful.
By just that single word.

If I had a word that described you
It would sound like a song,
its melody too sweet to imagine.
It would echo through the world,
and sing through deaf ears.
All would stop and listen
to hear its glorious sound.
And their lives would be sweetened
By just that single word.

If I had a word that described you,
It would be much more than just a sound.
It would be so powerful,
that you could touch it, smell it, see it.
It would be the most velvety thing you ever touched,
the sweetest scent you ever smelled,
the most breathtaking sight you ever saw.
In comparison, colors would fade, and all lights would dim
By just that single word.

If I had a word that described you,
it would be the salvation of the world.
You make my life so beautiful,
that there is no word yet to describe it.
You are my savior, my hope, my dream.
And I wish I had a word that said all of that.
But, as I have no such word to give,
I guess it must suffice to say
The word that comes the closest to describing you.
What you gave me, and I gave you.
Love.
And that's my single word.
