One Side They'Ll Never See Poem by Stella Andrews

One Side They'Ll Never See

I look in the mirror and see no face.
I see a girl who has no promises, hopes or taste.
I look into the water, in search to find me,
But all i see is shadow, not once, me.

I've been rubbed out and drawn in for a perfect match,
For the life i live in, i'm such a catch.
My life is so 'perfect', glitter and glam,
Maybe it would be if my dad gave a damn.

Popularity, money, looks and family career,
Can only go so far, until depression is near.
I have a real heart, in a fake world.
I have a fake smile, but i really am a real girl.

If my money or good looks could give me one thing,
I would get a man with a real smile and two things,
real feelings,
And A real beating heart.
