One Shark Won't Bite Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

One Shark Won't Bite

E-arly Wednesday morning,
D-awn has begun to break;
N-either dusk nor twilight
A-ims to cause you heartache.

E-vening shadows disappear,
L-eaving the yellow beacon;
A-llowing the sun to bring
M-uch shine to February twenty-second.
P-ouring rain and chill
A-re fading into the night;
R-apture comes from the sea,
O-ne shark won't bite.
