One Place Poem by Unic Cjonr

One Place

Rating: 5.0

Walking inside a forest, I am overcome by the sincerity of silence.
The heavy noises of the rustic city has finally been killed.
Death has dawned to quite the normal sounds which so easily interrupts the flow to our ear hearing mechanisms.
I took one deep breath, then another.
Pure by form, the lush transparent oxygen poured into my lungs, without one drop of pollution.
I am filled with a sense of clean assorted happiness.
A different kind of energy, unseen but heartfelt.
My senses are being renewed by the taking over of a younger spirit.
One which belongs to the spirit of the pine forest.
Suddenly a portrait appeared, painted by a new vision by my bleeding eyes.
Tears filled in the cavities of my skull.
I only felt happiness beating in my heart.
One with clear blue skies.
One with crystal clear lakes.
One with snow covered mountains.
I stood and stared in awe at the wild wilderness.
Am I truly part of a generation which will destroy this wonderful planet.
One where I am free.
One which is only for my eyes to see.
One in which I want to be.
I realised then, I have to save Mother Earth.
The place of my birth.
