One Person Loves Me Poem by Dragon Crenshaw

One Person Loves Me

Voices in my head,
Tell me to do it.

They say,
'You know where they are,
Just finish it.'

I try to ignore,
But it tells me all the bad things.

'Your life was ruined,
You aren't loved,
You're worthless,
Why live any longer,
You aren't respected,
Just get out of your misery,
It won't hurt,
Just do it quickly,
One slice,
That's all,
Life,
Doesn't,
Want,
You,
Look at the signs.'

I agree with it,
As it goes on.

I get closer,
To the knifes.

Then I realize,
'But I have him.'

I have a knife in hand,
And think about my options.

'Get out of the misery,
Or stay with the one who loves me? '

I dropp the knife,
And start crying.

He comes in from work,
And helps me up.

He calms me down,
And says,
'You're beautiful,
Intelligent,
Worthy,
Don't do it.'

He kiss's me,
And I fall in his arms.

'I love you.'
Is all I say...
